The best corporate event venues in Ras Al Khaimah are Al Hamra International Exhibition & Convention Centre and the Ras Al Khaimah Exhibition Centre for large conferences and exhibitions; Rotana Ras Al Khaimah (The Mangroves), Al Hamra Residence and Rixos Bab Al Bahr for conferences of 500 to 1,000 delegates; and InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah, Mövenpick Al Marjan Island and DoubleTree by Hilton Marjan Island for mid-size meetings of 150 to 400. For events that need to be memorable rather than merely large, the Jais Sky Room, Al Jazeera Al Hamra Heritage Village and The Ritz-Carlton Al Wadi Desert are the strongest options in the emirate.
Below is what each one actually offers, and, because we work in these venues most weeks, the practical notes that rarely appear on a venue fact sheet.
Ras Al Khaimah’s business events sector grew 36% year on year, and the emirate is targeting 3.5 million annual visitors by 2030. MICE travel is projected to reach up to 15% of total visitor demand by 2030–2035. The sweet spot is mid-size groups of 50 to 250 delegates — large enough to matter, small enough that RAK’s venues can give you exclusivity that Dubai cannot at the same price.
The practical draw is that you can put a conference in a ballroom in the morning and a team on a mountain zipline by mid-afternoon, without a domestic flight. That combination is why multi-emirate programmes increasingly anchor the working sessions in Dubai and the memorable half-day in RAK.

The largest event footprint in the emirate: 37,400 sq m across a Main Hall, a New Hall and an outdoor area, with capacity up to 5,000. This is the only venue in RAK built for genuine exhibitions and trade shows rather than adapted from hospitality space.
Planner’s note: it is a shell venue, which is a strength and a cost. You bring in everything: power distribution, rigging, staging, air handling for outdoor components. Budget for build days, not just event days, and confirm your rigging points early.
2,700 sq m of exhibition space and capacity to 3,000, on the Arabian Gulf shore. It has two VIP majlises plus terrace and beach areas, which makes it unusually flexible for events that need a formal plenary and a relaxed evening reception in the same footprint.
Planner’s note: the beach areas are the reason to choose this over the Exhibition Centre. A gala dinner that moves from ballroom to sand is a genuinely different experience, but plan for wind. Between November and February, evening gusts off the Gulf will take an unweighted structure down.
Opened in 2026 at Mina Al Arab, with 13 event spaces, 12 meeting rooms and capacity to 1,050 in the Dunes Ballroom. It is currently the most complete conference hotel in the emirate.
Planner’s note: the number of breakout rooms is what matters here. Multi-track conferences usually fail in RAK because a hotel has one ballroom and two small rooms. Twelve meeting rooms changes what is possible.
Capacity to 1,000 across three venues. Strong for large functions and gala dinners where you want scale without the shell-venue build cost.
650 rooms, four event venues, capacity to 600, largest space the Ankara ballroom at 770 sq m, on the Al Marjan Island beachfront. The room count is the point — for a residential conference where everyone stays on site, few RAK properties can absorb a full delegation this comfortably.
723 rooms and capacity to 400 in the Jasmine Ballroom, with five venues and four meeting rooms. Reliable, well-priced, and the largest room inventory in the emirate.
Capacity to 330 in the Juman Ballroom, but with 14 venues and 11 meeting rooms — the most granular meeting space in RAK. If your conference is 200 people split across six parallel workshops, this is the shortlist.
Capacity to 300 with a 530 sq m ballroom. A good middle option for product launches: enough ceiling height for a decent lighting rig, without the cost of a larger room you will not fill.
240 rooms, capacity to 400, with five meeting rooms. Under-rated for training programmes and multi-day workshops where breakout space matters more than ballroom grandeur.
Capacity to 180 in the Amman Ballroom, with six venues and four meeting rooms. Well suited to board meetings, leadership offsites and smaller conferences.
The Jais Sky Room is the highest meeting space in the UAE, sized for intimate boardroom sessions. Camp 1770 sits at 1,770 metres, the highest camp in the country. Neither is a conference venue in any conventional sense — both are what you use when a twelve-person executive session needs to be unforgettable.
Planner’s note: altitude changes everything logistically. Load-in windows are tight, temperatures drop sharply after sunset, and generator power needs planning. We would not attempt either without a site visit first.
A preserved historic pearling village. RAKTDA highlights it for photo shoots, product launches and concerts, and it has been used for conferences with plenary in a historic fort and breakouts in the village structures.
Planner’s note: extraordinary on camera and genuinely distinctive. It is also a heritage site: power is temporary, rigging is restricted, and permits take longer than a hotel booking. Start six to eight weeks out.
Also worth knowing: The Ritz-Carlton Al Wadi Desert (capacity 500, inside a nature reserve), Dhayah Fort — the only hilltop fort in the UAE — and Longbeach Campground, which handles 400 with a floating theatre and water sports.

Yes, and it is one of the emirate’s strengths: beaches at Al Marjan and Al Hamra, desert at Al Wadi, and mountain settings on Jebel Jais. From October to April the weather is reliable. Outdoor events need generator power, weighted structures and, in some locations, additional permits.
Three to six months for the October to May season, particularly for a specific date or venue. Shorter lead times are workable outside peak weeks.
It depends on the venue and format. Hotel ballroom events usually do not require separate permits; public spaces, heritage sites, beaches and anything with amplified sound or public attendance generally do. Timelines depend on the authority.
